Legal Age to buy Alcohol – Customers must be 18 years of age or over. Orders will not be accepted from anyone under 18. Please be aware that attempting to purchase alcohol if you are under 18 is a criminal offence. The delivery driver or Courier may require you to prove your age with ID at the point of delivery.
Ordering and Dispatch – There is a minimum beer order of 1 Case (12x440ml) Cans.
We will make every effort to dispatch your order on the same day or following working day of it being placed. We try very hard not to work weekends, so if you place an order after midday on a Friday, it may not be dispatched until Monday.
If you live in the Scottish Highlands, offshore, or Northern Ireland, delivery will take longer and may cost more. Please see our Shipping page for more information about delivery, please ask us if you are unsure.
We will ask the courier to leave your consignment with a neighbour you tell us not to. Please make this clear in the “Order notes” box in the checkout.
We will refund or replace faulty or broken items, as quickly as we can.
We strongly advise against leaving goods without a signature. We will not be liable for any losses incurred this way. If you do want to have goods left, please tell us a safe place in the “Order notes” box at checkout.
Payment – Orders placed on this website need to be completed with a valid credit or debit card via Paypal which takes any Card without having to have a Paypal account. Bank Transfer (BACS) is also available and our bank details will be provided at checkout and your order will be completed once we have confirmed your transfer.
Product Specifications – We reserve the right to change, update, improve items in the online store at any time.
Prices – We reserve the right to change prices without notice. Prices shown on this site are subject to change in line with costs and market values. All prices shown include VAT at the current UK rate.
Title – Title is retained with Wishbone Brewery Limited until the customer takes final delivery of the goods.
Damage in Transit – Wishbone Brewery Limited shall replace free of charge, or issue a credit, goods lost or damaged in transit, providing that the Buyer shall:
a. Give us notice by telephone or by e-mail, confirming the nature of loss and damage within three days of delivery, and
b. Where the goods are delivered by outside carriers comply with such carrier’s condition of carriage for notification of such claims. If signing for damaged goods please sign or instruct the carrier to sign as “Damaged”
c. The time limit for notification of a lost parcel is one month from date of order.
Force Majeure – Wishbone Brewery Limited shall not be liable for the failure to fulfil any terms of any transaction governed by these conditions of sale if fulfilment has been delayed, hindered or prevented by any circumstances whatsoever which is not directly within its control.
Law – This contract shall be subject to and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England If any provision in this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall be deemed severed from this Agreement and this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Returned Goods – Goods may be returned within 7 days of delivery if you are not satisfied for whatever reason. The postage and safe return of the goods in this case is the customers responsibility.
Cancellations – We endeavour to dispatch goods promptly, usually on the working day after you place your order. If you place an order in error, or wish to cancel an order, please call us during office hours 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday), or send us an email. Please be aware that orders cannot be cancelled after dispatch, but may be returned according to the returns policy above.
